Mountain Dulcimer:
D-A-d Tuning, Capo 1
Teaching: Aeolian mode of E (DAd tuning, capo 1); developing a dulcimer work-around for playing an E harmonic minor scale when the note isn’t present on the dulcimer.  Applying fingering exercises to play the melody.  Adding a chorded melody version.
Hammered Dulcimer:   Teaching: Aeolian mode (pure minor scale) and harmonic minor scale patterns, adding a bass note to a melody, adding 3-note and 4-note chords, developing a dulcimer “work-around” when your instrument doesn’t include a needed note.
