Two Colorful [New] Nature Tunes for both Dulcimers!
Two well-liked original compositions by Tim, "Big Meadows Twilight" (originally on hammered dulcimer) and "Little Brown Bats Eating Mosquitoes" (originally on mountain dulcimer), can be learned either as straight melody or with a built-in solo arrangement on either instrument. In this packed hour, we'll walk through the various ways to approach them, with hope that they can find a happy place in your repertoire! Sheet music and Tablature will be provided for all versions.
Once you begin expanding your repertoire in your dulcimer journey, you run into lots of songs that have dotted and syncopated rhythms. In this workshop we will focus on getting in the groove to play these rhythms smoothly like a metronome.
